Natural horsemanship course
From 2009 we are organising Natural Horsemanship courses with Adam Shereston. www.adamshereston.com Adam is a well respected Horse Whisperer from the UK. You will learn to understand your horse better and be able to communicate better with your friend, from the ground and in the saddle.You can choose to join a workshop of 2 days or do a combination of a workshop and a beautiful holiday on our farm -with horseriding- whilst visiting the most beautiful places in Portugal as well. The number of overnights and riding days or hours can be tailor maid. Maybe you would even want some private lessons with Adam? Anything is possible here at Portugal by horse!

Prices :	Workshop 2 days+demo all in: 397€/person (Max.4 people) Inclusive: Rent of the horses (when you don't bring your own horse), 3x overnights in guesthouse , food, drinks with meals, training.(3x breakfast, 3x lunch, 3x dinner) For your horse(when you bring your own horse): Stable and hay. Workshop 2 days+demo: 190€/person (Max.4 people) Inclusive: Lunch(2x) Exclusive: Stay in guesthouse, dinner and drinks, rent of horse.Pension for your horse . Pension for your horse : 30€ /course Renting a horse : 40€/course Every participant has 4 hours private lesson in 2 days, the demonstration is on the 1st day in the afternoon after all participants have arrived(around 17.30h.). The course starts on the 2nd day,on the 4th day the participants leave after breakfast or they can stay for more holidays and have extra private lessons . Extra private lessons on the farm: 30€ for participants of the course, 40€ for new people. Spectators: 10 €/person for demo 20€/person for clinic children under 16 years : Free for spectating

Clinic Healthy horse riding
Norbert en Rike, 2 horse riding trainers from Berlin- Germany, are comming to Portugal for the course "healthy horse riding" . They aim to teach healthy horseriding for you and your horse. This course is a pleasant surprize for every rider ,young and old. You learn to ride on a healthy way,(and/or)massaging your horse(and/or)yoga exercises for your horse ect...
Prices :	Course healthy horse riding 3 days full pension: 448 euro/person (max 8 persons): Inclusive: One individual lesson in the morning and in the afternoon(2hours/day). Mountainbike
Blood sweat and tears...For the active sportpeople among us and those who love to chalange themselves, we have mountainbikes. There are 5 VIPER mountainbikes and 1 Silvex mountainbike for rent at Quinta da Alegria,Portugal by horse.We have drinking bottles and helmets available. The mountainbikes are well taken care and checked before your trip so you will only have fun and joy while biking around. There are maps from the region available for the adventurers or you can have your personal guide Rob Horree. He can show you the most beautiful spots in the environment. You can choose the number of overnights and biking days or hours yourself.

Prices :		The mountainbikes are for rent for a day or for a whole week! €15 /day/person €80/week/person When you wish Rob to guide you through the region: 7.50€ / person / 1 hour Maximum 4 hours. Exlusive :Insurance! Al damage caused to the mountainbikes, will be payed by the person who rents! Helmets are available!

Massages
1994 Liesje got her diploma for 1º Thai massage in Thailand. She combines it with Swedish massage in a compact 45minutes to give you total relaxation of neck, shoulders, back and lower back. She uses home made massage oils. If you want a complete body massage it takes 2 hours or more with a fantastic final result.

Prices:		Normal massage30- 45min: 13€ Full Body massage: 8€/30 minutes.

Hiking tours
Leen Van Melle, a friend from the family, takes you to the most beautiful spots in the Serra da Estrela or in the neighborhood. You can choose for a walk taking a couple of hours or a trek of a couple of days. There are walks for beginners and experienced hikers.
